Ashley McDaniel joined THPC as the financial coordinator in January of 2019. She holds an Associates Degree in Office Administration from Forsyth Technical Community College. Prior to joining the team she has been, and continues to be, a critical member of the public safety community. Ashley has been a member of the Jerusalem Volunteer Fire Department for 13 years and served as a paramedic for 9 years. During her EMS career, she has served for 5 years full-time at Davie County EMS and 6 years part-time at Yadkin County EMS. Her responsibilities Healthcare Preparedness Coordinator will include functioning as the primary contact with NCOEMS and serving as the leader of the Triad Healthcare Preparedness Coalition. In addition Ashley will continue to do grant management, analyzing and reporting on financial data, verifying and preparing transaction information, and creating and processing invoices, accounts, and payments .
Mickey Boyles joined the THPC as the Operations Coordinator in September 2022. Mickey holds an Associates in Applied Science for Emergency Services. He has previous work experience in nearly all aspects of emergency services to include 27 years as a Paramedic. Additionally, Mickey has been a firefighter and a sworn law enforcement offic
Mickey Boyles joined the THPC as the Operations Coordinator in September 2022. Mickey holds an Associates in Applied Science for Emergency Services. He has previous work experience in nearly all aspects of emergency services to include 27 years as a Paramedic. Additionally, Mickey has been a firefighter and a sworn law enforcement officer during his 30-year career in emergency services. He brings a multitude of experiences to our THPC staff, having coordinated and conducted many training courses in law enforcement, firefighting, rescue, hazardous materials and advanced life support. Mickey has served on many joint task forces with the State of NC, FEMA and Homeland Security.
As the Operations Coordinator, Mickey will be responsible for Assisting the Triad Regional Healthcare Preparedness Planner (HPC) with professional and administrative work including planning, organizing, and directing the implementation of the Triad HPC work plan, regional projects approved by the Coalition and the regional medical disaster response and recovery (Emergency Support Function 8) program. He serves as the Operations Section Chief for all SMAT II deployments using the National Incident Management System Incident Command System and assists SMAT II Team Leader by maintaining volunteer record management and SMAT II team roster to ensure credentialing and SMAT team deployment readiness status. He will also serve as the Regional SMAT III, Ambulance Strike Team and Ambulance Bus liaison and coordinator and assists the Mobile Disaster Hospital as necessary.
Justin Welborn joined THPC as Logistics Coordinator in April 2021. Prior to joining the THPC team Justin was a master fabricator working in Mobile, Interactive and Experiential Marketing as well as mobile medical vehicle manufacturing. He brings with him 12 years of Fire, Rescue, and EMS experience. He has worked in various roles
Justin Welborn joined THPC as Logistics Coordinator in April 2021. Prior to joining the THPC team Justin was a master fabricator working in Mobile, Interactive and Experiential Marketing as well as mobile medical vehicle manufacturing. He brings with him 12 years of Fire, Rescue, and EMS experience. He has worked in various roles from county level EMS to Critical Care. His responsibilities as Logistics Coordinator include maintaining the THPC fleet of vehicles and mobile equipment in a mission ready status. He is responsible for all logistical activities of the THPC. He assists the Healthcare Preparedness Coordinator (HPC) with professional and administrative work including planning, organizing, and directing the implementation of the Triad Healthcare Preparedness Coalition (Triad HPC) work plan, regional projects approved by the Coalition, and the Regional Medical Disaster Response and Recovery (Emergency Support Function 8) program.
